Konsepti

The rooms are drawn on white in loose crayon and marker outline, barely finished, a bed under a raincloud, a bathroom with tiled walls and a window. Into each of these sketches a photographed OL bottle is stood at the scale of furniture, sharp and fully lit with its Finnish and Swedish pack copy readable, so the one solid object in the frame is always the product. Twice the film leaves the drawing altogether, once for a pair of real hands pressed against a misted window in teal light, once for a photographed bedroom with a blue chest of drawers and a row of framed family photographs, and the cut between the two registers as a change of material rather than a change of scene. The voice-over is only two lines, "Tee puhtaista unelmista totta. Luonnollisesti OL puhdistusaineilla." ("Make clean dreams come true. Naturally, with OL cleaning products."), which leaves the pictures to do everything else. It ends on a thick black brush-drawn mouth with a small purple diamond at its centre on white, with no logo card after it, an unusual place for a commercial to stop.
