Joke

Flat graphic animation at full strength: heavy black-outlined mouths, magenta inside with white teeth, tiled across panels of teal, white and magenta and cut into a repeating profile, with small dashes flicking off them for laughter. Twice the drawing and the photograph touch each other. A real ice lolly leans into a drawn mouth whose tongue is already out to meet it, and a rainbow-striped lolly stands inside a wide drawn grin with four fresh strawberries balanced along the teeth, so the fruit rests on a line that was inked. The sung lyric is in English and is not altogether friendly for a children's product, "I'm gonna eat you, and I'm gonna lick you, and now I'm gonna crunch you", with the let-off landing on the brand name, "hey, it's only a joke". The product shot is the logo in purple script with a yellow "UUTUUS!" (new) flash and two lolly sticks crossed beneath it, printed with riddles of the which-crane-does-not-fly kind, so the pun on the stick is also the name on the wrapper.
