Neste Alfa 2, winter

1987 · Commercial · 30 seconds

Neste / Vistakuva

Live action with animated effects.

A snow-covered road runs straight through winter forest, filmed from a moving car. The same road in summer at dusk, red sky burning above the trees ahead. A grid of blue lines recedes into black, drawn like an electronic landscape. A black four-litre Neste can, orange alpha and green Alfa 2, on the blue grid. Glowing amber oil pours in and curls into a bright looping shape against black. End card: Finnoil, Kesoil and Union marks beside two Neste cans on a summer road. A dark road with a glowing white centre line under a thin red horizon band. A blue neon grid road on black with a red thermometer bulb at its centre.

Heard in the film: “Huippuöljy talvella, huippuöljy kesällä. Huoletonta ajoa yhdellä öljyllä ympäri vuoden. Synteettinen Neste Alfa on kehitetty Suomessa Suomen ankariin olosuhteisiin. Neste Alfa. Lähes tuhannelta kotimaiselta huoltoasemalta.”
